Podcast Episode 11: I launched a Clothing Line & Interviewed Fabolous & Debbie Allen
Let Fly Carla guide you to YOUR flyness! #theflygirlguide
You might but you might not, tentative ass niggasI said it then I meant it, definitive ass nigga- Fabolous
Because I do what I say I'm going to do. I launched a clothing line called, Pop Style Clothing. Pop Style Clothing is a streetwear line that shatters trends. I made it for Black Twitter and beyond. My goal is to turn your favorite saying into a lifestyle.
It's been a journey but I am determined to go from wantrepreneur to entrepreneur. The dream is real but the hustle is even more real! Instead of participating in Howard University's homecoming like a bystander, I worked all homecoming weekend. I covered Howard's converted Yardfest via backstage where I interviewed Yardfest's headliner, Fabolous. I also met Faith Evans and Lil' Uzi Vert.
I then set up shop on Saturday during Howard's tailgate and sold my clothing. The hustle is real. In my latest podcast, I spill the tea on the loneliness of entrepreneurship, how I made Fabolous laugh and the best advice Debbie Allen has for young career women.
