Them OVO boys are fire. Drake has a dope squad.  Party Next Door is a great writer.   Majid Jordan has the best production. Dvsn’s vocals are on point. And the debut album, Waking at Dawn from Roy Wood$ is an enticing soundtrack for the kinda night where morning comes too soon. It’s such a sexy album. And it’s a solid album.  I can easily listen to Waking at Dawn without skipping a track. With 10 tracks total, the album has zero features, sublime voices and slick wordplay. “Why” is definitely my favorite with “Gwan Up Urself” and “Down Girl” rounding out my faves.
